How to wrap up a baby: For a baby, especially a newborn, any amount of cold or wind can be a big deal, especially if they already have a cold or similar infection. To keep your baby warm, lay your quilt on a flat surface. Place your baby in the center with their head toward a corner of the quilt. First, fold up the bottom corner of the quilt over their feet. Then fold over the sides of the quilt, one at a time. Then fold the top of the quilt down, just enough to keep out a breeze making sure they can still get air. Avoid being in cold or wind longer than absolutely necessary.
