Because our handmade quilts are custom-made to your specifications, allow 2-3 weeks for your quilt to be made and shipped.  Generally, you will receive your handmade quilt within a month.  "In Stock" handmade quilts are shipped within 3 business days.

Baby blankets are ready to ship and you will receive a tracking # in 4-5 business days.

Quilt kits are shipped by USPS Priority mail within 3 business days of receipt of payment.  Generally, you will receive your quilt kit within a week of placing your order, usually less.

Quilt patterns are downloadable which means you may download it immediately from your receipt page.

How do I get my baby quilt pattern?

For your convenience, our quilt patterns are downloadable.  After payment is submitted, you will get a receipt page with a link on it.  Simply click on this link to download your pattern. 

What is included in a quilt kit?

Our quilt kits include detailed instructions with illustrations and all the precut fabric that you will need for the project, including lace and ribbon, depending on which kit you order.  You will need to purchase all purpose thread, quilting thread, quilt batting, and any sewing and quilting supplies that you don't already have (i.e. sewing machine (which we now offer!), needle, thimble, quilting hoop, etc.).

What if I need help making my quilt after purchasing a quilt kit or pattern?

Help for making quilts is provided through the convenience of e-mail.  Simply fill out a form at the bottom of any page to send us a message, or e-mail us at andrea@sandreababyquilts.com.

How do I care for my quilt?

Our quilts are durable and are able to last a lifetime when properly cared for.  The following tips will make them last longer:

Wash in cold water on the gentle cycle with like colors.  Wash as few times as possible.  Washing quilts a lot tends to wear them out.  Tumble dry low or hang to dry.  Hanging quilts to dry instead of putting them in the dryer will also make them last longer.

Do not put a quilt in the dryer if it has a stain on it.  This will set the stain into the fabric and it will be more difficult to remove.

Do not use bleach.  To remove any stains that may get on your quilt from normal use, put Wisk or other stain remover on the stained area and rub it in.  Allow it to sit for a few hours and then wash it by hand or in the washing machine in cold water. 

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept Paypal, Mastercard and Visa payments over a secure merchant gateway.  If you have a Discover or American Express credit card, you may pay with them through Paypal.  You do not need a Paypal account to pay through Paypal with your credit card.

What is your return policy?

Every product comes with our 100% satisfaction guarantee. If, after initial inspection, product is damaged or defective in any way you may return in unused condition in original carton within 10 days for exchange or full credit. A 10% restocking fee will be charged for all non-defective returns.

How do you ship and what is the cost?

All products can be shipped to U.S. mainland states. Baby Blankets:  Shipped in 5-6 business days by UPS, Fed Ex, or DHL.  Shipping cost is $10.73.  Handmade quilts:  In stock quilts will ship within 3 business days.  Otherwise, allow 2-3 weeks for quilt to be made and shipped. Handmade quilts are shipped USPS Priority Mail and are insured.  Shipping cost is $11.40. Quilt Kits:  These are shipped within 3 business days by USPS Priority Mail and are insured.  Shipping cost is $6.95.  Patterns:  Patterns are downloadable and may be downloaded from your receipt page as soon as payment is received.  No shipping costs on patterns!  Sewing Machines:  These are shipped by UPS, Fed Ex or DHL.  Shipping cost is $16.95.
